In 1965 Mr. Ashok Pawar developed and manufactured our first Fiber Reinforced Composite tube, an electrical insulator. With dedication and dynamism he focused his attention on creating totally indigenous import substitute components. He went on to win a President's Award for import substitution in 1971. Hitein has achieved ISO 9001/2000 accreditation for quality management system in manufacturing of reinforced composites.

Hitein realises that quality cannot be ascertained by inspecting product at the last stage, but rather planned and built into the process as a culture. A team of Quality inspectors supports the workforce. With our well defined and documented quality assurance policy, we provide complete traceability of all manufactured and supplied products. With this we can achieve customer satisfaction by supplying right quality composites on-time every time, while continually improving our quality management system. We also use SPC and Six Sigma tools to improve and enhance the overall system and customer experience.
